Theoretical studies on high creativity by kansei science and application to design

Kansei is a function of the mind working at a subconscious level. In our minds, there are things that cannot be explained in words but understood by the heart. That is, some things can be expressed by shape but not explained in words. These kinds of mind processes serve as the foundations of our decision making. These mind processes are defined as the kansei of mind. We promote theoretical research on the mechanism of these mind processes, and apply the results to enhance designs supported by a high degree of creativity.
