Through our case studies of cities and architectures where we can find modern value and implementation of our designs, we elucidate new roles of architectural designs for a new society. The subjects of our case studies are diverse. We analyze the project background, morphology, spatial configurations, and actual uses, and discuss a new creative significance of design. Our research subjects are not limited to new cases but also include old cases. We study the potential of historic architecture for reuse and a reconstruction method of old condominiums that are no longer compliant with the current building code in terms of building size. To implement our designs, we are working on interior and architecture projects.

Main Research Topics

Research on a reconstruction method of old buildings
