Video < Let’s Grow Our Creatures at Home -vol.1 Let’s make a “Colorful Caterpillar” using paper clay! > was created by Aoi Matsuzaki (Art Environment Support Course Master Year1) is streaming now.
< Let’s Grow Our Creatures at Home > was created as part of social contribution activities by Art and Design, University of Tsukuba, and this video is aiming to support and enhance creativity in children who have been staying at home due to the closure of schools during the COVID-19 crisis.
< Let’s Grow Our Creatures at Home > contains of several videos.
Through watching these videos, children will learn how to create unique creatures at home and grow their collection while simultaneously enhancing their creativity.
In the video, < vol.1 Let’s make a “Colorful Caterpillar” using paper clay! > contains 3 videos, children will make grow their collection like “caterpillar” to “Pupal” and “Cocoon”, furthermore to “Butterfly”.
This video doesn’t aim to create after a perfect model, but to help children find a way to express themselves and learn how to use various devices, and the focus is on enjoying creativity with the performer in the video.

We held the Online Lecture on the 5th August, in advance of fieldwork.
In this year’s fieldwork, students will go to “YOKOHAMA TRIENNALE 2020”.
They find some study subjects previously and do research there.
We invited two special teachers who are involved in YOKOHAMA TRIENNALE and had them give us lectures.
