本展の「MC」とは修士課程を指す「Masterʼs program Course」の略称です。令和 2 年度以降は大学院再編により、新たに人間総合科学学術院 人間総合科学研究群芸術学学位プログラム(博士前期 課程)となりましたが、⻑年にわたり親しまれた「MC 展」の名称を引き継いで展覧会を行なっております。

この展覧会は「研究・制作発表特別演習 I」「研究・制作発表特別 演習 II」の一環として、学生が主体となり計画から運営まで進めて 参りました。

日頃の研究成果を発表し、自己の研究を客観的に分析することで、今後の制作に活かしていくことを目指しております。

The abbreviation “MC” stands for “Masterʼs program Course”. Following the reorganization of the graduate school in April 2020, the name of this masterʼs program was formally changed to the “Masterʼs Program in Art, Degree Programs in Comprehensive Human Sciences”. Regardless of this change, we continue to use the familiar term “MC Exhibition” in order to express continuity with previous generations.

This exhibition, as the culmination of the course “Special Seminars and Workshops: Presentation and Exhibition I, II”, has been principally planned and managed by the students.

By exhibiting the fruits of our artistic research, we hope to analyze our results critically and constructively as we strive further in our future creative endeavors.
