Linda Gisselle Cruz Gonzales
1997年メキシコ、ソノーラ生まれ。現在、造形芸術の学位取得を目指して、バハ・カリフォルニア自治大学に在籍中。絵画、素描、彫刻など様々な表現方法を使用。内なる探求や非永続的かつ繊細な状態の人間に興味を抱いており、特に、記憶・アイデンティティ・精神と肉体といったテーマで制作している。人物、そして、自然や抽象的形態を元にした象徴的要素と人物との関係性を素材として用いており、頻繁に作品の中に登場する。
She was born in Sonora, Mexico, in 1997. She lives and works in Mexicali, Baja California. She is doing a bachelor’s degree in plastic arts at the Autonomous University of Baja California. She uses painting, drawing, and engraving. She has demonstrated an interest in the inner exploration as well as the impermanent and sensitive condition of human beings, and concentrates on themes like memory, identity, the body, and the spirit. She uses the human figure and its connection with symbolic elements from nature and the abstract form, as a resource and these are constantly seen in in her artwork.
