主に油絵具、下地にアクリル絵の具などを用いて、自分が興味のあるものなどを組み合わせて現実にはない世界や生物を表現することで、自分自身の思考の動きを絵に反映させることを目指している。作品にはコンセプトよりも作品そのものが鑑賞者に与えるインパクトが重要だと考えている。 最近は授業の裸婦制作で、油絵具やオイルのさまざまな使い方、画面上でモチーフを構成して絵として完成的でより魅力的に見せるにはどうすれば良いかを試行錯誤している。自然の現象や生物に興味があるので、それらから主にインスピレーションを受けている。
Predominantly using oil and acrylic paints as a base, I aim to reflect the movement of my own thoughts in paintings by depicting an imaginary world or creatures. I believe that the impact of the work itself on the viewer is more important than the concept. Recently, in classes involving depicting nude models, I have been experimenting with different ways of using oil paints and oils, and how to compose motifs on the canvas to render the painting more complete and attractive. As I am interested in natural phenomena and creatures, I am usually inspired by them.
