私は普段絵画を制作している。画面の中で私なりの美を追求することが私の芸術活動の根本である。私は素敵だと感じるものに出会ったときに、最も創作意欲が高まる。それは自然だったり、町並みであったり、あるいは人の作品だったり、様々である。 洋画専攻なので普段油絵具とキャンバスを使って作品を制作しているが、私自身画材への執着はなく、様々な画材にチャレンジしてみたいと思っている。今のところ主に扱える画材は油絵具、水彩絵の具、デジタルソフト（CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX）である。 絵画制作の醍醐味は、画面の中は何をしても自由だということである。空間を捻じ曲げるなど現実世界のルールを無視して自分の都合のいいように描いても良い。私は特に色に興味があるのだが、目に見える現実の自然な色味を超えて自分が好きなようにアレンジする。具体的な手本がない分難しい試みではあるが、自分の美の感覚をいかにアウトプットできるか挑戦することに面白さを感じる。
I primarily work on paintings. As an artist, my practice is based on the pursuit of my definition of beauty within the frame of a picture. I am most inspired when I encounter something that I find beautiful. It could be nature, a town, or artwork by someone else. As a student majoring in Western painting, I usually use oil paints and canvasses, but I am not attached to any particular medium, and I would like to experiment with different ones. I currently use oil paints, watercolours and digital software (CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX). What I love about painting is that you are free to do whatever you want within the picture plane. You can twist the space, ignore the rules of the real world, and paint whatever suits you. I am interested in colour, as I can go beyond the natural colours of visible reality and arrange them in any way I like. This can be a daunting task since there is no model to follow, but I am interested in challenging myself to see how I can output my sense of beauty.
