　This exhibition presents the city of Kamaishi in Iwate Prefecture, photomediated by professor Gary McLeod over a two year period (2019–2021).
　Although the images record the city changing over time (i.e. the past), together they actually ask what comes next. If a photograph is a question, this exhibition is essentially an essay, albeit the first draft.

　本展は、Gary McLeodが2019年から2021年にかけて撮影した岩手県釜石市を紹介する展覧会です。
　画像には時間の経過とともに変化する都市(すなわち過去)が記録されているが、一緒になって次に何が来るかを実際に尋ねる。写真が質問であるなら、この展覧会は初稿ではあるが本質的にはエッセイである。
