人は動き、移ろい、また多くの場合、そ れぞれに複数の出発点を有している。都市や町々は、そこに住んでいた人々を反映しているのかもしれない。実践を主軸とする研究活動により私はある問いに対する回答を導き出そうと試みている。異なる空間を接続し、時空を通じて自らの アイデンティティを理解するために何ができるだろうか。アートを通じて歴史、文化 遺産、土地、文脈の間につながりを生み出すことは可能だろうか。この作品は、 世代を超えたつながりを新たに想像するに あたって風景の果たす役割を再考する。本プロジェクトはフォトメディア、家族の系譜、家族の持つ物語を用いて、人口移動を経た前世代とのアイデンティティ的なつながりを創出する道筋を探りつつ、集合的記憶から空間と風景を視覚化する試みである。

People move and migrate, and many have more than one point of departure. Cities and neighborhoods might be a reflection of the people that inhabited them. By doing practice-led research, I am trying to answer the questions: How can we connect different spaces and understand our identity through time and space? Can art generate connections between history, cultural heritage, land, and context? This work rethinks the role of landscapes as a tool for reimagining transgenerational connections. With the use of photomedia, family archives, and family stories, this project explores how to generate identity connections with previous generations’ migratory movements and an attempt to visualize a space and a landscape from collective memories.
