Title: Wood Characteristics and Properties, and Its Application for Making Products
Abstract: Wood as one of the natural materials has the unique characteristics and properties. The anisotropic characters and mechanical properties of wood should be considered
properly when the wood will be used to become material of the products, and therefore basic understanding to this characters and properties will guide, e.g., to the most suitable wood joint system and its utilization at a certain product, such as wooden furniture, toys, etc.
