日々、目に見えるものも見えないものも含め、あらゆるものの存在について考えずにはいら れない。私たちを取り巻きながらなぜか気づかれないもの。常に一方向にゆっくりと流れる 雲、洗いたてのリネンの手触り、古い校舎の前の木々が互いに寄り添っているように見えた り、庭の蜜蜂の声がふと子供の頃を思い出させること。こうした光景、音、そして嗅ぎ慣れ た匂いさえも、あらゆるものに深く織り込まれた繊細な命の物語を伝えている。まるで周囲 に漂う旋律のように、それはものたちの声なのだ。すべきことは、ただ耳を傾けてみること なのだ。

On most days, I cannot help but ponder over the existence of all things visible and invisible to the human eye. I wonder about the very things that surround us daily, yet which go somehow often unnoticed. The way the clouds slowly drift in the sky always in one direction or the way newly washed linen feels on the first touch. How the trees in front of an old schoolhouse seem to lean towards each other or how the sound of bees in the garden suddenly reminds you of your childhood. It is these very sights, sounds and even familiar smells that tell a delicate story of life deeply interwoven in between all things. Like a melody of sorts that lingers always in the air, it’s the voices of things. All we need to do is just try and listen to them.
