Generative AI powered by large language models can feign “human-likeness” despite being machines without physical bodies. This work proposes a perspective of the “non-human” by applying that skillful pretense to “non-human entities.” It involves 3D scanning Jomon pottery unearthed in Yanaizu Town and training the model on relevant literature to generate speech. By deliberately omitting the human perspective and employing a presentation in which humans are absent, the work aims to bring to light the ecological relationship between “non-human entities” and “humans.”
