Curriculum Policy
Under the educational policy that fully utilizes the characteristics of the various divisions including not only History of Art, Art Environment Support, Western-style Painting, Japanese-style Painting, printmaking, Carvings and Sculptures, Calligraphy, Composition, Plastic Art and Mixed Media, Crafts but also “Manga”, illustrations, character expression, spatial molding, etc., together with Visual Design and Environmental Design that work on international artistic expressions on a plane or in 3D, the Art and Design Degree Programs aims to facilitate students to acquire highly specialized expressions and rich knowledge, and to gain practical professional skills that lead to research activities in the Doctoral Programs, while encouraging students to master cross-divisional and interdisciplinary learning and research and to build a wide spectrum of abilities.
