Drawing Practice IIB(Star,Spring AB Autumn AB 10 eachWeek, 2nd year

Drawing Practice II A and II B are offered as a common subject for all Fine Arts (Western Painting, Japanese Painting, and Sculpture) majors, and are primarily taken by second-year students who plan to study Western painting in the future.

Through rough sketches of plaster casts and human bodies using charcoal or pencil, students will develop their observational skills and creative sense regarding the basic elements of form, light and shade, quantity, quality, and space, and acquire the basic techniques of pictorial expression.

In the spring semester, the main assignments are medium to large plaster statues, and in the fall semester, the main assignments are nudes (standing, sitting, and lying down poses).
