When illusions come at you from the other side
It's time for humanity to break down
(Kenji Miyazawa, from "Spring and Ashura")

T+review

"When illusions come at you from the other side, it's time for humanity to break down."
From Kenji Miyazawa's "Spring and Ashura."

"Illusion" is certainly something that humans think of, but it is an illusion. What can prove that something unseen, yet certainly existed? Words, and then pictures. An exhibition depicting passages from novels and the images evoked from them. Imagination becomes words, words become pictures, and pictures appeal to people as images. While images become more concrete, if a novel is a fictional story, it is interesting that the pictures that depict it further increase the degree of illusion. People have a tendency to chase things that cannot be seen, and at the same time, artists also want to visualize them. Because it never ends. Even when we can see it, we still receive some kind of image from it. And we indulge in fantasy again. In that case, art may only be a part of encouraging human fantasy. We are supposed to be trying to spit it out, but we swallow what we spit out and get sucked back into the world of fantasy.
"When illusions come at you from the other side, it's time for humanity to break down."
While I was overwhelmed by the images that were coming at me, those words echoed vaguely in the back of my mind. (Hanako Furuya)
