T+review
Pushing through the creaking door and pushing aside the heavy black curtains into the exhibition room, I found five cones shining in a soundless space completely cut off from the outside world.
Light is a mysterious thing. When you enter this dimly lit room under the daylight, it feels fleeting, and in the evening it becomes warm, and at night it becomes dazzling. Even if it is the same light, nothing is the same. However, just by being there, it shows various expressions.
 The lights are on.
Just that one thing has so many meanings. Without "light" we cannot exist.
I dropped in just as the sun was setting. I pushed back the curtains and was dazzled by the light shining on the other side.
At that moment, I suddenly remembered the loneliness I felt every time I returned to my room. I pushed the door open, but there was no one there. Once the door closed, the light went out and I was left in darkness... For the few seconds it took to turn on the light, I was alone in this world.
No matter how many times I open the curtains, the light in this room remains on.
Whether you're riding your bike past or chatting with friends, there is certainly a space you can exist in behind the black curtain. I thought to myself how precious and reassuring it is to have a space where you can exist. (Ota Natsuki)
