Hello everyone, it's me.
T+review
A casual scene from everyday life was constantly playing on a monitor placed by itself in the gallery. As I stood in front of the monitor, I felt the gaze of the exhibitor calmly observing the daily actions that create "myself."
Inside the monitor, the cycle of sleeping, waking up, and the beginning of a new day is repeated over and over again. Yes, everyone in the world repeats this cycle over and over again. And the act of "washing" that accompanies this cycle is something that is directly connected to our lives. I felt there was something suggestive here.
At the end of the day, we cleanse our bodies, the tools we use to ingest the food we need to live, and our mouths after chewing it.
This act is like carefully resetting yourself, one step at a time.
"You" never remain as one individual. You are constantly changing. If we could seek out the "you" that changes steadily in the midst of our everyday lives, affirm it, and accept that change, if we could come to like and love that "you," perhaps the world we live in now would become just a little more colorful.
