Call for participants for the T+ Special Exhibition "Connecting Exhibitions"
【Overview】
Art Gallery T+ will be holding a special exhibition that will hopefully provide an opportunity for students to present their works and to interact with each other.
With the aim of staff and artists working together to create the exhibition, works selected by staff will be exhibited for five days starting from Monday, November 11th.
Venue: Art Gallery T+
Date: February 11th (Monday) - February 30th (Friday)
[Planning Concept]
Connected Exhibition Exhibition name (tentative): "En Count"
Now that the spread of COVID-19 has made it difficult to meet people face-to-face, we decided on this concept with the desire to create an exhibition that allows artists, T+ staff, and viewers to connect with each other.
Currently, T+ restricts the viewer to viewing the work from outside the glass. In this way, the glass can be interpreted in various ways: as a barrier separating the viewer from the work, or as something that gives us distance and comfort.
The aim is for the artist and staff to exchange opinions about how they perceive the glass, and how others perceive it, and then to share this with viewers through the exhibition.
In addition, the special exhibition will:
●Exhibition viewed through glass from outside the gallery
● Using Teams meetings, artists and staff will discuss concepts and exhibition methods (approximately three times during November)
●Created based on the results of discussions
●Create one exhibition space with multiple works
【Application rules】
* Any genre of work can be submitted, be it two-dimensional or three-dimensional.
・Flat surfaces must be within size 80 (regardless of size)
・For three-dimensional objects, the size must be within 50cm in length, 50cm in width, and 70cm in height.
・Installations and video works are also accepted (please discuss with staff)
●One piece per person. Works must be unpublished at T+.
●Entry that soils the gallery or provides food or drink is not permitted.

[About loading and unloading]
・Exhibitors must load and unload their items themselves, in the presence of staff.
-Delivery on Sunday, November 11th, removal on Friday, December 29th
・No need to prepare captions or display stands as they will be provided by the gallery
[About selection]
・T+ staff will select approximately three works.
・Selection results will be notified to applicants in late October
