Don't fall into despair
This poem expresses the importance of elevating ancient principles and not settling into a quiet state of mind. I created this poem with the aim of imagining this severity, using Chu-style characters that convey a sense of speed.
Looking back on the history of calligraphy, I have come to believe that changes in the size of written characters are an important element in the new development of calligraphy. I had intended to predict and apply the techniques of my predecessors, but this work has made me keenly aware of the importance of daily training.
