The same calligraphy method
All things are different

The law of calligraphy is the same as the book
The nature of all things is different

This is a passage from an ancient poem by Ming Dynasty thinker Chen Xianzhang (1428-1500). The poem states that the method of writing well is essentially the same, but the nature of all things is different, and is thought to be a proclamation of the need to understand the characteristics and merits of each tool. In addition, before and after this verse, there is also a description of the difficulty of writing on silk and the thatched brush that Chen favored to use.

I considered using a imitation of a grass brush to write the cursive script, following the example of Chen Xianzhang, but it just didn't work out, so I used the Chu script from the Warring States period in China. The brush strokes are a little hesitant and lack power, which is an area for improvement.
