This poem is included in Wakayama Bokusui's (1885-1928) fourteenth collection of poems, "Songs of the Mountain Cherry Blossoms" (published in 1923).
The size combines both vertical and horizontal elements, giving the top half a wide look and the bottom half a tight fit.
