49×38cm Framed 1993

The poems of Aizu Yaichi (1924-40) from his first collection of poems, "Nanking New Song," published in 1881, and his second collection, "Rokumeishu," published in 1956, are performed by Teika.

I asked my colleague Shigeo Kuroki and graduate student Hajime Emoto to make a copper plate of this work, inspired by the steam from the East Pagoda of Yakushiji Temple.
