The darkness in the depths where the Buddha sits is quieter than a shadow.
I came out of the Dream Hall where the Buddha was standing alone and quietly closed it.
Two poems by Jun Kawada

This poem is included in Kawada Jun's (1882-1966) thirteenth collection of poems, "Touki" (Return to the East) (published in 1952), who also wrote many books on poets such as Fujiwara no Shunzei and his son Teika, and Saigyo.

The first poem is placed slightly lower, like a hyphen, and the second poem has more ink applied to the kanji.
