Lin Chiang Ren Gingshu Wang Shizhen Treatise Scroll
119×48cm
I copied a scroll of Jiang Ren, one of the eight masters of the Xiling School. I tried to copy it in a restorative way, and carved the signature seal and the head seal. I used the red seal "Goshumo" for the signature seal, with the intention of it being a seal for the owner.

Yoshino River, high waves, the water rushing by,
The 471st poem in the Kokin Wakashū (Collection of Poems), by Ki no Tsurayuki. I saw this poem when I went to the Tokyo National Museum for an off-campus seminar in the spring of my first year of university, and I had always wanted to copy it.
Sue Yuan Akira “Kikakuraiji” words
33×24cm
The central piece is modeled after a Song Dynasty red seal, with reference to the examples of the Xiling Eight Schools and Zhao Zhiqian. I tried to make it blend in with the usual carving style, but it didn't work out as I had hoped.
