Rin Sekidohon Wakan Roeishuu (Cut-out)

The "Sekidohon Wakan Roeishu Kiri" is believed to be written by Minamoto no Kaneyuki because it is said to be in the same handwriting as the second type of Takanokiri and the shikishi-gata of the door of the Phoenix Hall of Byodo-in Temple. It is a very unique piece, written loosely with a side brush stroke. This was my first attempt at creating a work in kana at the campus exhibition, and through the process I was made to keenly realize that I still have a long way to go. I will continue to work hard every day, so I hope you will look at my work with a kind eye.
