I copied the 62nd and 63rd poems from "Koyagire Daiichishu". I tried to use the ink smoothly and with a flowing brush. I hope you can feel at least a little of the elegant style of the Daiichishu.
Lin Baoshan Chu Slips
135 × 35cm
I have been writing Chu characters since high school, but I wanted to try writing something I had never written before, so I copied the "Baoshan Chu bamboo slips" excavated from a Warring States Chu tomb in Jingmen, Hubei Province in 1987. Although they are all called Chu characters, the atmosphere differs depending on where they were excavated and when they were written, so I tried to reproduce the unique style of calligraphy of the Baoshan Chu bamboo slips, but I was unable to do so, and the result is a poor piece. I hope you will enjoy it with a kind eye.
