This time I copied the poem from Volume 18, No. 980 of the Kokin Wakashu. It is a poem that Ki no Tsurayuki sent to a friend in Echigo, and it says, "Whenever I think of you, I imagine Mount Hakusan in Echigo. I have never seen it, but there is not a night that I do not cross it in my dreams." Many of my friends were heading off on new paths, and it was a time of meetings and partings, so I chose this poem, which also contains a feeling of farewell.
Since I will be graduating this year, I want to work hard on my production.
