Goldfish
With every breath, the moon spits out that soft, nostalgic moonlight.
Every time a flower breathes, it gives off a pure, fragrant scent.
Every time the goldfish takes a breath it spits out a beautiful jewel, just like the stepchild in the story.
A stepchild is a child who is not related by blood.
In Perrault's fairy tale, a stepson who is kind to a fairy disguised as an old man begins to have jewels fly out of his mouth every time he speaks.
Misuzu put it into poetry.
This mysterious final section has been turned into a work of art.
