The work of a second-year student from the School of Fine Arts won the Grand Prix at the KOKUYO Design Awards.

At the KOKUYO Design Awards, sponsored by KOKUYO Co., Ltd., the work ``Sahara'' by Hitoshi Ohbi, a second-year student in the School of Art (Information and Product Design), won the Grand Prix.

The KOKUYO Design Award is an international product design competition that gathers proposals for products that will be in demand in the future and gives them form.

2023 theme: “embrace”
The final judging will be held on March 1,023, 515, with 508 works selected from among 10 works (2023 from Japan, 3 from overseas) that passed the first screening.
One Grand Prix and two Excellence Awards have been decided.
