The purpose of the Sculpture Department is to provide specialized education through theory, exercises, and practice related to sculpture, which is a fundamental and important field of art as three-dimensional modeling.The content is broadly divided into molding and sculpture, and specialized instructors provide rich education ranging from the basics to specialized subjects.
The plastic modeling training focuses on human figures, starting from heads and busts, and extends to the whole body, using molding, plaster techniques, and plastics.(FRP)Production training will be carried out step by step on an annual basis.
Carving training includes wood carving and stone carving2Divided into fields, each2 ~ 3Over the course of a year, practical training ranging from basics to specialized skills is conducted.In addition, there are special sculpture training, casting training, and terracotta training.As mentioned above, the curriculum of the Sculpture Course is designed to allow students to acquire general theory and practical skills in the field of Sculpture.
There is a graduate school above the academic group, which allows for more advanced training in the master's and doctoral programs.
