Architectural design area
The field of architectural design is mainly architectural design.(Planning, planning, design, etc.)The main goal is to train people who will be involved in this work.
In each era and in each land, humans have searched for and created the most suitable place for their lives: the living space, in their own ways. This is because only by securing such a space can humans develop their individual lives.
``Architecture'' is basically nothing other than this ``activity of humans trying to secure their own living space in each place in each era.''There was once a time when people did it themselves, but eventually people appeared who made it their business. My current work in architectural design and architectural design is also a part of my professional work in this field.
Therefore, architects and architectural designers who work to create buildings and other living spaces must now consider what kind of space is needed on the land, for what purpose, and how to create it. We must always ask questions such as , when, where, who, what, why, and how, and continue to question the reason for the existence of the living spaces we create. If any one of these were to fail, it would be fatal. This is because even things that are created with little reason for their existence, once created, inevitably become part of our living space. In that sense, the social responsibility of the work of architectural design is great. However, in the rush to modernize Japan's architectural education, which began in the Meiji era, these basic questions have tended to be forgotten.Reflecting on past architectural education, in this field, we aim not only to simply acquire knowledge and techniques, but also to cultivate individuals who can look at objects with the questions mentioned above. We are looking for students who have rich and sensitive sensibilities, flexible thinking with a wide perspective, and above all, who love people.
