The aim of the Sculpture Department is to provide an education that further develops the specialized content acquired over four years at university. In order to train specialists with advanced knowledge and outstanding skills across the entire field of modeling and sculpture, the curriculum is designed to focus on practical skills such as modeling, wood carving, stone carving, metal, dry lacquer, and terracotta through lectures, exercises, and practical training. From the second year, students are encouraged to pursue a topic of their own choosing in depth, allowing them to pursue a high level of graduation research.

Career path for graduates

For those who complete the sculpture education at our university, many of them go on to become sculptors, three-dimensional sculptors, designers, etc., as well as careers in education, such as art teachers at junior high and high schools.Furthermore, there are also paths to research positions such as university teachers, researchers at specialized institutions, and curators at art galleries and museums.
