I encountered Byzantine art during my student days when I was vaguely attracted to old things and things, and since then I have continued my research with a focus on cathedral decoration. Her original theme was the iconography of the ``Sleep of the Virgin,'' but recently she has been working on other themes, mainly the ``Twelve Festivals.''Since this is not a research field with a complete collection of art books, it is often necessary to visit the works on your own.He conducts fieldwork in the southern Balkans and Turkey, and is thinking about the state of iconography depicted in the three-dimensional space of a cathedral.
