Plastic Art & Mixed Media

Our research focuses on the development of art since the 20th century up to the present in the 21st century, and we conduct research on the creation of figurative works and production using various media.Specifically, this is research in more advanced contemporary art based on theory and practice of hybrid art using contemporary art and media art.

In the first year, as an extension of academic and undergraduate education, in order to understand and organize the concepts of contemporary art and decide on research topics, we are required to carry out comprehensive modeling exercises as well as general modeling exercises for production and research presentations. .

In the second year, students are instructed to compile their final thesis and production through the production of works based on their own research themes.

His research subjects to date have been diverse, including theoretical research on contemporary art, installation, media art, video and animation, three-dimensional modeling, two-dimensional art, and kinetic art, as well as attempts at performance.
