Curriculum policy

The degree program in arts consists of 12 areas: art history, art support, Western painting, printmaking, Japanese painting, sculpture, calligraphy, composition, integrated design, crafts, visual design, and environmental design. Based on an educational policy that makes the most of the characteristics of each area, we encourage interdisciplinary learning and research and aim to cultivate a wide range of abilities, while equipping students with highly specialized expressive abilities and rich academic knowledge, and developing specialized practical abilities that will lead to research activities in the doctoral program.
