Art and Design Science
The Art and Design Science area is an area responsible for basic research in the field of art.In other words, it is possible to purely explore the unique visual effects caused by modeling without necessarily assuming that the research results will be of any immediate use.The subjects of research are wide-ranging, including flat surfaces, semi-solids, three-dimensional structures, spatial configurations, and kinetic modeling, regardless of materials or mediums. Therefore, anyone who has specialized in modeling can choose to go on to higher education regardless of the field.
In production research, by carefully observing the basic elements of modeling such as color, shape, material, light, and movement, we explore modeling methods that can create new visual effects. In theoretical research, new visual effects obtained through production research will be considered from multiple angles based on analysis of related works, literature research, and experimental verification. The purpose of Art and Design Science research is to accumulate and disseminate the knowledge obtained in this way and to expand the foundations of plastic expression.
