Work description:
From 1956 to the following year, Yamada underwent a major transition from his cubist-style still life paintings to ``arabesque paintings.''In Work B.021, an early example of his work, we can see his tendency toward chaotic "places."The screen is filled with irregular forms based on cool colors, and lines that reveal brush strokes run through the gaps like a maze. Each form seems to express something unique, but the traces of this are faint. These chaotic paintings gradually centered around a large rectangle, and the individual forms began to take on a certain order, culminating in the striped paintings of the ``Work C'' series. Work C.18 is a typical example of this, but unlike so-called minimal art, the artist's handwriting is clearly visible. On the other hand, ``Work F-1995'' from 262 has a bright color tone, but the geometric forms that make up the screen have irregularities that are reminiscent of his early painting style. Confirm that you have returned.
