Work description:
Chuji Nakamura studied at the Japan Art School while working in various jobs, and while exhibiting watercolors and oil paintings at exhibitions and solo shows, he even created ink paintings. Since 1958, he has devoted himself to monotype (a printmaking technique that involves drawing on glass or metal and transferring it to paper), creating a unique world of painting. This work is Nakamura's early work based on that monotype. The humorous figure, which looks like a standing grasshopper, and the blurring and blurring of the paint that occurs accidentally during transfer, give the painting a mysterious sense of life.On the back of the work, there is an inscription that says ``About the marriage of the Crown Prince,'' which suggests one of the sources of the idea.
