Research representative: Tsuyoshi Hashimoto (University of Tsukuba)
Co-researchers: Hitoshi Ishii (Meijo University), Shinichi Watanabe (Daido University), Futake Sato (Meijo University)
Purpose of research
In this study, we will take into account the Areas of studyal characteristics such as climate, select several examples of existing traditional private houses and villages, and discuss their thermal environment design methods through the ``formation, maintenance, and development process.'' We will clarify the actual situation and Areas of studyal characteristics from the perspectives of comfort of the living environment, potential as a disaster prevention and mitigation measure, and value as a Areas of studyal branding element, and aim to build a sustainable and recycling-oriented society. The purpose is to clarify the technical and cultural knowledge that can be applied to current architectural and urban design methods.
