Architectural Institute of Japan Convention 2026

This is last week's story.

I presented some of my research findings at the Architectural Institute of Japan conference.

This year it's Hiroshima.

The venue is Yasuda Women's University.

This is the university where Professor Kobayashi, who I'm always indebted to, works.

Wow, the campus and facilities are magnificent. I was completely overwhelmed.

The conferences covered a range of topics, including environmental engineering, rural planning, history and design, and urban planning.

The announcement will be made in the rural planning section.

Presentation Title: Shape and Dimensions of Tea Houses in Western Shikoku

HES2025 at Nara Women's University

I participated in the 49th Human-Living Environment Symposium.

This year's venue is Nara Women's University.

Last year I went to Tsukuba University. A year goes by so quickly.

This time, graduate student Fujita gave a poster presentation.

It's been a while since I've been to Nara Women's University...

There are a few deer here and there on campus. I don't remember there being so many the last time I came.

As you stroll around town, you'll see shops!

Biometeorological Society Conference 2025

I participated in the Japanese Society of Biometeorology conference.

This year's venue is Tottori University of Environmental Studies.

It's been a while since I've been to Tottori.

My first time at Tottori Sand Dunes.

There were a lot of things that happened, but I think it was a memorable tournament.

I served as a member of the tournament executive committee.

To Kyushu University

A while ago, I went to Kyushu University for the Architectural Institute of Japan conference.

The campus is huge and there is also a hamburger restaurant.

Tsukuba University also has a large campus and there is a certain coffee shop there, but it has a different atmosphere.

It's new overall, but that's not all.

This presentation was a report on building shops in Shikoku.

I received valuable opinions and advice, so it was worth the trip.

I won't go into details, but I have just realized that there are two main types of presentations by each professor.

Professor Kurihara from Kumamoto Prefectural University gave a good presentation.

I feel like it was a memorable tournament.

The Kyushu University campus is entirely new.
You can move around the campus via covered walkways. It seems that bicycles are not allowed, so I wonder what Kyushu University students do on a regular basis. Many students at Tsukuba University get around by bicycle.
The trees seemed to be acting strangely. Could it be the effect of the intense heat?

HES48 Tsukuba

The 48th Human-Living Environment Symposium (Tsukuba) was held at the University of Tsukuba, and I had the honor of serving as the conference chairperson.

Thanks to the support of many people, including the members of the executive committee, our university's assistant professor, Dr. Kanno, the student part-timers, and the reception staff, we were able to accomplish this important task without any problems. Thank you very much.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated.

We asked Miki Yamamoto, an associate professor at our university and a manga artist, to give a special lecture.
The oral presentation venue.
The poster session venue.
The social gathering venue.

Japanese Society of Biometeorology

A little while ago, no, quite a while ago? This happened last month.

I attended the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Biometeorology (Tokyo).

The title of the presentation was "Indoor thermal environment of Tsushima Koya."

The results were quite interesting, so we would like to conduct further research in the winter.

We also received valuable opinions and advice regarding our research.

The venue was Hosei University's Ichigaya Campus, and it was such a beautiful and impressive facility that I was amazed and wondered, "Is this really the same Japanese university?"

Is it strange to compare the campuses of a private university and a national university in Tokyo?

The venue is Hosei University.
The main lecture hall.
From the room where the board meeting was held the previous day, we could see Yasukuni Shrine and Nippon Budokan.
I tried my best to photograph a big onion.

[Award Report] Human-Living Environment Society Best Paper Award

I recently received the ``Human-Living Environment Society Paper Award,'' and the award ceremony was held at the Human-Living Environment Symposium in Fukuoka.

We also had an opportunity for the award winners to give lectures.

The award-winning paper was not the result of my efforts alone; I was able to conduct research and write it with the support of many people.

At the beginning of the lecture, I expressed my gratitude and gratitude.

From now on, I am determined to work harder on my research than ever before.

Architectural Institute of Japan Conference 2023

We participated in the 2023 Architectural Institute of Japan Convention (Kinki).

The venue this time was Kyoto University.

It was my first time going to Kyoto University.

Meeting held for the first time in 3 years.

I feel that discussions are more lively when we meet face-to-face.

The organized session on rural planning in the afternoon of the second day was interesting.
