This time, I went to Yoroshima Island in the Amami Islands.
This is my second time going to Yoroshima. This was my first time staying on Yoroshima.
My companion was Professor Ishii from Meijo University.
Mr. Ishii also brought a parasol (for both rain and shine) to protect himself from sunburn.
My style is as usual.
Although the weather was generally sunny, there were occasional squalls of heavy rain, and Mr. Ishii's preparations were the correct answer.
Late August is Obon in Amami, and the ferry departure time is different (according to the islanders, it was decided about a week in advance), and I don't know if it was because of the high waves or the wind. The ferry route was different and it took longer than planned, but everything turned out okay.
The coral stone walls of Yoroshima were spectacular.
