Revisiting Shiba Building

I revisited Shiba Building in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture.

First is the former Tobe family residence, which is a nationally designated important cultural property.

It looks different from when I came in the spring.

After all, it is a nationally designated important cultural property, so it doesn't seem like it's being neglected.

Now, about the Shiba building...

Somehow, half of it looks like that.

Now, next is the Ungoe family residence, which is a nationally designated tangible folk cultural property.

How about this?

oh!this is! !

Well, this one was looking good!

To Niigata

I went to Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture.

The purpose is to confirm the existing status of Nakamon-zukuri private houses.

The Nakamon-zukuri style has a part called the ``Chumon'' that protrudes from the main house, and in the past horses were kept at the Nakamon.

Nowadays, few people keep horses or other animals at home, so the middle gate has been renovated.

When I looked carefully, I realized that there seemed to be various patterns in the renovation.

In addition, a new question arose as to whether the common type of storehouses in this Areas of study were ``Tsuchi-nuri Itakura,'' which were converted into storehouses.

It is difficult to distinguish clay-painted Itakura from its appearance alone, and it is quite difficult to understand its actual condition.

The golden rice was impressive.

A thatched-roofed Chumon-zukuri building surrounded by cedar trees for wind and snow protection.
I feel that the middle gate part is quite large.
I was impressed by how stylish the renovations were.
