Japanese Biometeorological Society Board of Directors

Last weekend, I went to Waseda University.

This is the board of directors of the Japanese Biometeorological Society.

After the coronavirus pandemic, the board of directors' meetings have been held online, but this is the first time we have met face-to-face.

Looking around the city, it felt like it was back to before the coronavirus pandemic, except that everyone was wearing masks and there weren't many foreigners.

Itakura Forum 2022

I participated in the Itakura Forum.

This year it will be held in Nagoya.

In the morning, we had a tour of Itakura Construction's after-school facility, ``Aozora After-School Child Care Club.''

In the afternoon, we moved to Will Aichi for the Itakura Forum presentation.

Will Aichi is near my alma mater, Meiwa High School.

I found it interesting to hear about the transition to wooden after-school nursery schools in Aichi Prefecture and the story about Sustina Village Naruko in Miyagi Prefecture.

Meiji village

I went to Meiji Village.

I remember coming here a few times on excursions when I was a child, but it's been a really long time.

I spent a day touring the place carefully.

There were also newly relocated and preserved buildings, which I enjoyed studying.
