To Kikaijima

I went to Kikaijima.

This time, we are conducting a joint investigation with Professor Ishii of Meijo University.

I have been going to Amami Oshima almost every year for over 2011 years since 10, but this was my first time flying to Kikaijima.

I knew that there were coral stone walls left, but I had no idea that there were so many of them.

The coral stone in the middle is impressive.
There is also a mansion enclosure with Hinpun.
The coral stone wall is used as the wall of the attached building.
I discovered a type of Takakura that is different from the one on Amami Oshima.
This Takakura is also a type that I have never seen on Amami Oshima.
There is also an arbor type Takakura.

Kunitachi Piano Day

A downtown concert will be held in the area around Kunitachi Station on Saturday, March 2022th and Sunday, March 3th, 26!

I received this information from laboratory alumnus and musician Sou Matsukawa, so I would like to introduce it to you.

When Matsukawa was a fourth-year student, he wrote his graduation thesis on the theme of soundscape, using Tsuchiura City as his field.

This is a practical activity based on his lifelong theme of ``town development through music,'' which he learned from that experience.

Tokushima Survey March 2022 Part 3

In Tomoura, Kaiyo-cho, Tokushima Prefecture, we conducted an actual measurement survey of the thermal environment and ultraviolet rays environment for mise-zukuri.

This survey was a joint survey with Professor Watanabe of Daido University.

Fortunately, we were blessed with good weather.

I plan to visit again with another group at the end of this month.

I had the opportunity to tour a private house built in a traditional Mise-zukuri style in Shishikui.
