To Akita

I went to Akita prefecture.

I have set foot on all 47 prefectures with my own feet.

However, there were three places that I could not clearly say that I had visited.

One of them is Akita Prefecture. The remaining two locations are Aomori Prefecture and Saga Prefecture.

This time, we were guided by Professor Hama from Yamagata University and Professor Lee from Akita Prefectural University, and we conducted a field survey focusing on the compost shed and the windbreak board fence.

The compost shed was different from what I had imagined; it was a splendid attached building with an attractive masonry structure.seeing is believing.I'm glad I went there.

The board fence was also quite interesting.Even now, new buildings and repairs are being carried out.I thought I'd like to take a closer look. Research on wind is my starting point, and I found it attractive as a new research topic.

I'm looking forward to the day I can visit Akita again. And what about Aomori Prefecture and Saga Prefecture? After visiting, I once again thought that I would like to be able to say, ``I've been to all 47 prefectures,'' with a refreshed mind.

There is also a board fence at the boundary of the field.
There are many wind power generation facilities along the coast of Akita Prefecture, which tells you that the wind is strong.

Amami Survey August 2021

I went to Amami Oshima again to investigate.

This time, it was a joint investigation with Professor Watanabe of Daido University and Professor Ishii of Meijo University.

We conducted spatial measurements and thermal environment measurements of Takakura.

A typhoon broke out on the day we arrived in Amami, and we started off in a state of anxiety, wondering if we would be able to conduct the survey or whether our return flight would be cancelled. Fortunately, there were some sunny days in the first half, and we were able to get back home. The plane also flew safely.

The students braved the rain to investigate.
