Kawachi Town Survey 2021 Spring Part 2

I went to Kawachi Town again to investigate Mizuya and Mizuzuka.

It was a sunny day, more like early summer than spring.

Mizuzuka in Kawachi Town is really large.

There were some cases where mizuzuka, where water houses no longer existed, were being cleaned up as gardens.

A mizuzuka created as a garden. There were also some places where cycads were planted.
There was also a beautiful hedge.
Demon slayer! ?

Kawachi Town Survey 2021 Spring

I went to Kawachi Town to investigate Mizuya/Mizuzuka.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I have fewer opportunities to go out, and I feel like I haven't walked a lot in a while.

I pray that the day will come soon when I can go to field surveys and conferences without hesitation.

Many of the mounds in Kawachi Town were large.

In some cases, the Mizuya buildings were not warehouses or barns, but detached houses.

An outbuilding (called ``shoin'' by the residents) is built on top of the mound.
Some even own boats.
