Design Exercise 4 Presentation/Comment

There was a final presentation and review session for Design Exercise 4.

This year was full of masterpieces.

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, classes were moved online, and this was the first time this academic year that the second-year students had to do an exercise assignment at university, but they tried their best to relieve their frustrations. I felt like there were many students who gave it to me.

I have high expectations for their future growth.

We will introduce the presentation and the submitted works.

There are some things that are hard to convey without videos, so please bear with me.

Joint graduation thesis/master's thesis midterm presentation

We held a joint interim graduation thesis presentation with Professor Shinichi Watanabe's laboratory at Daido University and Professor Hitoshi Ishii's laboratory at Meijo University.

This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event was held a little later than usual, taking into consideration the progress of research.

And it was the first time it was held online.

There was a lot of discussion about holding the event, and at one point there was an opinion that it would be unavoidable to cancel this year as well, but I am glad that we were able to hold it online.

Most importantly, I think the students who presented felt that they were able to use this opportunity to proactively advance their research.

The Hashimoto laboratory's presentation is as follows.

Hinako Mizuhata: Research on the landscape of mandarin orange huts in Tsukumi City, Oita Prefecture

Risa Ito: Planting mizuka as a component of the garden, mainly in the lower reaches of the Kokai River

Kyoko Urakawa: (tentative) proposal for a healing spot in the city

(In order of presentation)
