Environmental Design Exercise XNUMX Final Review

The final review session for Environmental Design Exercise XNUMX was held.

This was carried out jointly with Architectural Design Exercise XNUMX, so I would like to report on it with comments.

First, let's start with the presentation of Environmental Design Exercise XNUMX.

The theme was ``a park-like city.''Overall, the panel presentation was good.

Announcement of “Yori-michi, Mieru-michi”.I thought it was interesting to connect the stool proposal to the space design proposal.
It clearly depicts the city being buzzing with people having fun and having fun.
Announcement of “Nagare Tamaru”.An international student specializing in painting tackled a spatial design challenge for the first time, and I think he did a great job.
It turned out so well that I couldn't believe it was my first time making it.
Announcement of "YORIDOKORO".I had a hard time setting the theme, but I finished it well.
I worked hard to create a model with an organic shape.
Announcement of "Tsuchiura Sports ST."The degree of improvement from pre-submission was the highest.I thought they did a great job.
It was a masterpiece that could be the theme of my graduation project.I think it would have been better if the model was more complete, such as by adding people.
Announcement of ``A vibrant and connected city''.The studies that I have been steadily building up have left an impression on me.
The model expressed ``everyday life'', but it might have been more lively and fun to express ``extraordinary use''.

Next is the presentation of Architectural Design Exercise XNUMX.

The subject was a special needs school (high school).

This is an introduction to the presentation.

After the presentation, we held a launch event.Thank you for your hard work!

To Tokushima

I went to Tokushima prefecture.

This time, instead of conducting a survey, I participated in a lecture called ``Thinking about the shape of Tokushima-style climate-adapted housing - towards a sustainable society.''

The presentation I was in charge of was titled ``Report on the Thermal Environment Survey of Itakura Compliant with Next Generation Energy Saving Standards''.

This was a report on the thermal environment survey of the Itakura Experimental Building in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture.

The next day, I attended a meeting at the Tokushima Prefectural Office as an observer.

Although we live in an era where energy conservation is necessary, we want to avoid a time when highly airtight and highly insulated housing becomes the only option for housing.

The venue for the lecture is the ``Wood Utilization Creation Center Forestry Human Resources Development Building Large Lecture Room''.
The ceiling is amazing.

Environmental Design Exercise XNUMX Pre-Submission

The work submission and review session for Environmental Design Exercise XNUMX was held last Friday.

We confirmed the assignments that should be brushed up after submission and reviews in class.

In addition to receiving comments from instructors, all students asked questions and gave their impressions of each student's presentation.

This method is possible because of the small group seminars that are unique to the School of Arts.

After this, the final submission and review session will be held jointly with Architectural Design Seminar XNUMX.

I'm looking forward to seeing how far the work will go in the remaining week!

Iide Town Survey 2019 Winter

I went to Iide-cho, Yamagata Prefecture to investigate palm trees and palm trees.

This is a small climate observation survey in winter.

Unfortunately, there was no strong wind and we were unable to obtain the data we had hoped for.

I was able to reaffirm through experience that even if the temperature is 1.5 degrees, it is still warm as long as there is no wind and sunshine.

I felt that wind protection and solar radiation acquisition in winter are important in passive design.

When we arrived there, it was snowing. The house on the right had a kazarai, and the house on the left had a wooden fence and net.

By the time we returned, the snow was completely gone. The difference in snowfall in the mountains in the background was impressive.

Tree Seminar Last interim presentation of this year

There was an interim presentation of my graduation research at the Thursday seminar.

For fourth-year students, this is the last opportunity to make a presentation before submitting their graduation research.

Many of the environmental design/architectural design students presented their graduation projects.

On the other hand, many information and product design students presented both their graduation thesis and their graduation work.

Depending on the field, there are slightly different trends in how to proceed.

Mr. Urakawa and Mr. Mizuhata from the laboratory gave an interim presentation on their graduation work, and it seemed that they were making good progress.

From now on, the first month of competition begins.Good luck everyone!

43rd Human Living Environment Symposium (Kushiro)

I participated in the 43rd Human-Living Environment Symposium.

The venue is Kushiro City Tourism and International Exchange Center.

It has been over 20 years since I visited Kushiro.

Fourth-year students Urakawa and Mizuhata gave poster presentations.
