Graduation exhibition gallery talk

A gallery talk for design majors was held from 2:16 pm on February 14th.

Thank you very much for your participation.

This gallery talk will give all design graduates a chance to present.

I think it was a valuable experience to have the opportunity to present my work in front of so many people, including my family, the people I care for, my seniors, and my juniors.

We will introduce presentations by graduates of environmental design and architectural design in the order of presentation.

Students preparing for the exhibition.

Since this is a second year student's work, there are still some areas where it is not technically perfect, but I think everyone did a great job.

I think there were many ambitious works that foreshadowed future growth.

I would like to introduce some of the works with photos.

Design Exercise XNUMX Progress XNUMX

Today we had a class on Design Exercise XNUMX.

This is the final essay check for next week's submission, presentation, and review session.

During the design seminar at the University of Tsukuba College of Art, Department of Design, each student is given the opportunity to make presentations and exchange opinions through Esquis Check.

It can be quite difficult in a large class like at a private university.

We have come up with a variety of unique ideas, and we are looking forward to seeing the final product.

In the end, I hope that the proposal will not end up being just a proposal for a "thing," but a proposal for a "space/place."

Tsushima Survey 2019 Winter Part XNUMX

The main purpose of this survey in Tsushima was to conduct a small climate observation survey targeting the Waniura village.

Particular attention is paid to the wind environment.

This observation occurred on a day with strong winds.

A maximum wind speed of over 9m/s was observed.

This was probably the strongest wind in my observation experience.

Waniura village has a topography that opens toward the sea on the north side, and we were able to observe how the winter seasonal winds directly hit the village.

The purpose of the survey is to clarify part of the relationship between these harsh climatic conditions and the location of Koya Gunkura.

The wind was strong and there were waves even inside the fishing port protected by a breakwater.Seawater carried by the wind may be blown onto your body.
The anemometer rotated with great force due to the northerly wind.
Graduate students Ima-kun and Kurihara-kun reconfirm their research methods.
