At the University of Tsukuba, in order to promote the visibility of relatively small groups of researchers, we have established a "Research Group Registration System" that registers research groups by department and disseminates information externally through the website and other means. Activity outline
This group promotes research activities through the interdisciplinary integration of engineering and art. Building upon the activities of its predecessor, the "Engineering-Art Collaboration Research Unit" (established in 2012), it registered as a research group in 2025. Its main focus is on planning and managing the "Tsukuba Media Art Festival (TMAF)," co-sponsored with Tsukuba City, and disseminating research findings to society through media art.
